Patrica Mallory hosted our workshop once again at her shop, Refind~Maison~Jardin, in Powder Springs. We had a great time creating, talking, and shopping. Our project this month was a Wendy Addison inspired star.
Tracing our stars after we had folded them into shape.
Placing our stars on the backing,then...
glueing our stars to the backing
Sarah Jane Bell, from dear jane is a belle etoile herself. Thanks for coming all the way from Fl.
Carefully, carefully setting the eyelettes.
Kelley Bell, the quintessential party planning diva, won the door prize.
After we giddily glittered our stars voila! Sept belles etoile!
.
Ladies you are all stars in our crown!!!!!!!!!

Gerri,
I am so glad you stopped by to see me & left a comment about the movie I told everyone about. An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving is such a good movie. You said you had read all of Alcotts books but, had not heard of this one... Acutally it was a short story that she wrote. If you Google it you will find more info.
LOVE your silver star. I would love to have been there to learn that technique. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful week & come back to see me soon.
